A record system is only as trustworthy as its trail. This page describes what Handovex logs about access to clinical content. It is a high-level overview, not a certification claim.

Access events
Reads of sensitive clinical content are logged with the user identity, the record touched, and a timestamp. If a question is ever raised about who saw a record, the trail answers it.

Workflow events
Key actions in the handover lifecycle are recorded as well: session start and end, signing, and exports. Signed records are locked against silent edits, so the log and the record stay consistent.

Retention
Audit logs are kept on a multi-year retention schedule, separate from clinical record retention. They remain available for internal review and investigation long after day-to-day activity has moved on.
